The AIC Parent Funeral Benefit provides financial assistance to members upon the death of their parents or parents-in-law.  The benefit payment totals R 2000 per parent at a cost of R18.00 per parent per month.   Cover is subject to a six month waiting period in the case of natural death of a parent.  Immediate cover is available in the case of accidental death.
Benefits cease from the day the Principal Member terminates employment. Premiums will not be refunded on termination of membership.  A limitation of two claims per parent registered with AIC will be imposed.
